Electrified logistics – hype or reality?
This is exactly what we discussed at the energy transport forum 2026, and one thing quickly became clear: the transformation is underway – and the industry has clearly opted for electrification. Obstacles remain, but the willingness and ideas are there. Now, one thing matters above all else: consistent implementation at the right pace.
The current geopolitical situation has once again made it clear that this transformation is not just about climate targets, but also about predictability and competitiveness for Germany as a business location.
Experts from the logistics, energy and infrastructure sectors discussed specific challenges and solutions – from charging infrastructure along the route and strategic decisions for fleets to new approaches for cooperation between the energy and transport sectors. Initiatives such as the reality check on motorway charging infrastructure, the panel on the electrification of logistics, and the open exchange during the Q&A session demonstrated just how much momentum there already is in the market.
In addition to the substantive discussions, the focus was also on personal interaction – particularly during the get-together that followed.
