For the 25th time, leading figures from the solar industry gathered in Berlin to shape the future of renewable energies. The event not only offered inspiring presentations, but also valuable opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas.
A particular highlight was the contribution of our colleague Anastasia Segovia Astorga, who provided exciting impetus for increasing flexibility in the C&I sector in the session ‘Thinking outside the box’. She illustrated how companies can not only support grid stability through the targeted use of flexibility solutions, but also benefit from significant cost advantages and new revenue models.
The advantages of flexibility are enormous:
- Better market integration of renewable energies
- Stabilisation of the electricity grid
- Reduction in the need for grid expansion
- Increase in energy efficiency
In addition, by actively participating in balancing energy markets, companies can not only strengthen their ESG compliance, but also generate additional revenue.
